We consider temperament, physical soundness, and color all of equal importance. Instead of breeding for hips to be the best or color, we have bred the finest dogs by equally focusing on physical aspects (hips, elbows) as well as cosmetic (color).

Our reputation and excellence in maintaining German breed standard, has allowed us access to some of Europe's top dogs that are not otherwise available to German Shepherd breeders in the US. We believe an exceptional temperament, superior body structure, and rich pigment to all be of equal importance. We are able to withhold such high standards because multiple breedings are not our goal, withholding the standards set forth by German breed standards is our only goal. In doing so, we have become known as the leading kennel in superior, quality shepherds and complimented by Europe on producing quality dogs that are not typical of American breeders.

American breeders who are known for poor breed practices and carelessness, those who breed for profit alone with no sincere regard for or hopes to better the breed.  We produce the finest in German, German shepherds. Breeding for over thirty years in attempts to bring the US superior dogs and to educate prospective buyers to the many breeders here that do not have the breed in mind.

Our dogs are of Europe's finest, which means healthy, strong, even tempered dogs. We want you to experience German Shepherds in the way we have. Our dogs are companions first and foremost. Every one of our dogs has a place in our hearts, and that is the kind of quality puppies we strive to produce. Not to say that many breeders do not also produce quality companions. However, our dogs are free of hip problems for at least five generations back, we know our dogs and their history and we keep our lines strong by only breeding to dogs with above excellent hips.

You would not believe how many people call us, having just lost their American breed shepherd to pancrientitis, or hip dysphasia. You will not see these health problems anywhere in our lines. That is not saying we will never have a dog with dysphasia, however, genetically you won't find it. Every dog is susceptible to a number of health problems or risks. Those chances increase when careless breeders consider color, or size to be of more importance then physical well-being.

A healthy dog is of utmost importance to us. We consider breeding even temperament, proper structure, health, and proper color all of supreme importance. When it comes down to it, a healthy dog with solid nerves, a strong build, and with a very predictable disposition is the ideal dog, color is just the icing on the cake.

Whether you choose one of our black dogs, red and black, sable, any color you may desire, we can guarantee that he will above all be healthy, even tempered, and have correct conformation. We are not breeding the best black dogs, or the best hips, we are the best breeders of healthy, even tempered, rich pigmented, strong built German Shepherds.
